3 City Employees Say They Were Threatened by Man

The following information was provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Three Solon employees told police they were verbally threatened by a 69-year-old Pettibone Road Man.

On July 30 the man complained about a truck driver blowing his horn and disturbing him around 10 a.m.

The situation was investigated by city workers and the driver accused denied it.

When the resident was told, he got mad and made possibly threatening statements to the workers.

He was accused of saying that the workers "better leave him alone because he has guns" and "next time the talking is over."

Charges against the man are pending an investigation by detectives.
