17-Year-Old Girl Threatens to Beat Mother

Information provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

Before school on Oct. 10, a Miles Road mother and daughter got into an argument, according to police.

Before the 17-year-old girl left the house, she began yelling at her 55-year-old mother and threw a padlock, box of salt and a cup of water at her. Once she was on the bus, she sent her mother a threatening text message, saying she would "beat her face in" when she got home, according to police.

When the girl got home, the rage continued and the mother managed to get the girl to the police station to make a report, police said. The girl was taken into custody and taken to the juvenile detention center.
