Rep Anielski to Host Military Benefits Fair in Highland Heights on July 23rd

The Community Center of Highland Heights joins State Representative Marlene Anielski in hosting a Military / Veterans Benefits Fair on Wednesday, July 23rd.

The event will take place at the Highland Heights Community Center and will feature a variety of organizations geared towards helping those who have served our country—no matter what era—as well as their spouses and families. Throughout the day there will be agency representatives who can help military personnel or their families with benefit questions, employment agencies, and many other military-related areas. The event is free and open to the public.

Date: Wednesday, July 23rd

Time: 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Location: Highland Heights Community Center (5827 Highland Road, Highland Heights, OH 44143)

Bring: DD 214 or NGB 22 discharge papers.  If discharge papers are not available, please bring the social security card of the military personnel.

“All of our military personnel have given personal sacrifices in leaving their loved ones to protect our freedoms,” Rep Anielski said. “It is my intention to make sure that all those who have served, no matter in what capacity and no matter what era, are aware of the benefits and services available to them during the Military Benefits Fair."

Invited organizations include the Ohio Veterans Nursing Home, Ohio Department of Veterans Services, Ohio Veteran Bonus Team, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission, United Way of Greater Cleveland, U.S. Army Wounded Warriors, University Hospitals, HearUSA, AT&T, Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services and more.
