Rep. Anielski Speaks to Brecksville/ Broadview Heights Government Students
State Representative Marlene Anielski recently spoke to high school government students from Brecksville/ Broadview Heights. During class, the students have been learning about the differences between local, state, and federal government.
Representative Anielski presented during Mr. Sean Brennan’s morning class. Rep Anielski and the students discussed the legislative process, the make up of the House and Senate, and the importance of bipartisanship. Each student was given a map of the state of Ohio and information on how a bill becomes a law.
"Representative Anielski did a great job of providing the students with some insight into the legislative process from the inside,” said Mr. Brennan.” Her talk really brought the legislative process alive for them.”

“I hope the students have a better understanding of how the state legislative process works,” said Rep Anielski. “Being a liaison and listening to constituents is one of the biggest components of my job as a state representative.”
