Orchard Middle School Named 2013 National Blue Ribbon School

COLUMBUS—State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) today applauded Orchard Middle School in Solon for being named a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School. The award is based on the schools’ overall academic performance or their progress in improving student academic achievement.

“I’d like to offer my congratulations to Orchard Middle School for their exemplary performance as well as to the dedicated students and staff,” Rep. Anielski said.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools designation honors public and private elementary, middle, and high schools where students perform at high levels or where significant improvements are being made in student achievement. In total, 286 schools across the country were named National Blue Ribbon Schools, 15 of which are in Ohio.
