Solon High School recognizes students' success at Awards Program
SHS presents students a variety of awards and recognitions for their success from the school year.
From Tuesday, May 21 through Thursday, May 23, Solon High School will be recognizing students’ academic achievements from the year. This year, there were 242 freshmen, 190 sophomores and 194 juniors on Honor Roll. On Merit Roll there were 87 freshmen, 104 sophomores and 88 juniors.
Next, 641 underclassmen received Rising Star awards, and 252 were presented Comet of the Semester awards. Teachers give these two awards to students who show great interest or ability in the classroom throughout the quarter or semester, respectively.
Students also received numerous other honors from outside of the Solon School System.
