Rebound 4 Research

The second Rebound 4 Research basketball fundraiser -- organized by Solon teens to raise money to fight rare cancers -- is scheduled for this Sunday.

The event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the . It costs $10 to play in the tournament, and you can pay at the door and join a team. The event also includes a raffle and refreshments.

The money raised will benefit the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. The center conducts research on rare cancers.

The event was organized by four Solon teens -- Adam Katz, Zach Shafron, Daniel Axner and Peter Zeid -- after Adam's father was diagnosed with a rare cancer last year. Read more about this story at the Cleveland Jewish News.
