Macbeth is a tragedy written by Shakespeare. It tells the story of a Scottish General named Macbeth who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches. They tell Macbeth that one day he will become the king of Scotland. Macbeth, who is very ambitious about what the witches have told him Murders the king and takes the throne for himself. He feels very guilty,turns very paranoid, and soon becomes a tyrannical ruler, committing many more murders. Macbeth must protect himself from enmity and suspicion.
