With More Rain on the Way, Flood Watch in Effect

Forecasters predict several more inches of rain on already saturated ground

For the second time in a week, rain coming through the area may cause flooding throughout Northeast Ohio, including Solon.

The National Weather Service reports that a storm system moving into the region will dump more heavy rains on grounds that are already saturated from the previous storm and melting snow as well as rivers that are still swollen.

Monday's storm dropped about two inches of rain on the area, causing widespread flooding.
