Did You Feel the Earthquake? These Solonites Did
Here's some local reaction to the earthquake that hit the East Coast this afternoon
Some Solon residents said on Facebook and Twitter that they felt tremors from the earthquake that struck in Virginia and the Washington, D.C., area.
Marybeth Terwilliger said she felt like was was on a boat. Robin Kachele, who lives in Newbury, said she saw her curtains and mirror moving in her house about an hour ago. Paige Boyer, who works in Solon, said she felt it in her office.
Sharon Caporini Aamoth said: "Yes, I was sitting on my couch and it moved and my plant was swaying in the corner. I knew it was an earthquake immediately!!"

But not everyone felt it. Alyssa Conner (@aconner2) said on Twitter that she didn't feel a thing. She sounded kind of disappointed.
"Hope everyone is okay though!" she said.
