Look: First Big Snow of the Year Continues in Solon

The snow continued to fall in Solon Tuesday morning.

Solon's first tussle with lake-effect snow is expected to end today.

And it looks like it might just be over. It's 10 a.m., and the sun is shining as I look out at SOM Center Road from .

According to the National Weather Service, the snow is expected to vacate the area by noon, when the lake-effect snow warning is set to expire.

Still, it's expected to be cold and blustery today, with a high near 18 degrees and winds reaching as high as 21 miles per hour.
