  • The Parma Hospital is holding its annual Arts at the Center at St. Michael’s Woodside in nearby Broadview Heights on Friday and Saturday. There’s a preview party on Friday for $50 and a free admission sale on Saturday. Items on sale range from photography to jewelry.
  • A reader posted an event called “Give and Glow” Holiday Shopping at the historic Bramley House in Independence on Friday. Guests are asked to donate $1 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation before shopping for jewelry, makeup, wine stoppers and more.
  • The I-X Christmas Connection is this weekend, and Strongsville Patch has all the details. This show has more than 500 booths of food and crafts. Tickets are $10.99 at the door for anyone older than 12. Discount tickets are available at Marc’s stores.
  • There’s a craft show for a good cause in Fairlawn on Saturday: the Christ Child Society of Akron Christmas Boutique. There are juried artisans, a bake shop, raffles and used books. Proceeds go toward buying clothes and supplies for area children in need. Admission is free.
  • The Cardinal Craft Show at Mentor High School on Saturday will be full of food and crafts, and it benefits the athletics’ pay to participate fund. Tickets are $3, but seniors and students get a discount; their tickets are $2.
