Say Goodbye to Mild Weather: Snow Coming Tonight

The National Weather Service forecasts that the rain will turn to snow tonight and as much as three inches could fall in Solon.

Today's mild January temperatures and rain will be shoved aside by a cold front bringing frigid air and snow.

With a snow storm moving in from the West, the National Weather Service forecasts that the rain will turn to snow before 8 p.m. tonight, and bring about one to three inches of snow to Solon overnight. The temperature is expected to drop into the 20s.

Another two to four inches of snow could fall Friday, and the high temperature is expected to reach 27 degrees.

A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 45. Southwest wind between 11 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
