Lakewood Patch: Heat, humidity and looming rain clouds didn’t keep an estimated 20,000 people from attending the 34th annual  in downtown Lakewood on Saturday.

Many strolled Detroit Avenue checking out art — in just about every medium imaginable.

There were 164 artists sprawled out from Marlowe to Andrews avenues.

They sold an array of work, including clothing, enamel, etchings, paintings, photography, yard art, ceramics, concrete leaf art and furniture.

Cleveland Heights Patch: Two teens who pleaded guilty to attacking a Cleveland Heights man after a homecoming football game were sentenced Friday.

Phillip Morris, 18, of Cleveland Heights, received a seven-year prison sentence, and Maurice Pollard, 17, also of Cleveland Heights, received the maximum of nine and a half years, said Ryan Miday, spokesperson for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason's Office. Pollard was tried as an adult.
