Solon Chamber Business of the Year: The Plumbing Source

A plumbing business that has served Solon residents for 25 years was recognized by the Solon Chamber of Commerce as the 2011 Business of the Year.

Greg Faustina began his plumbing business 25 years ago working out of a truck and a storage unit.

Now Faustina runs The Plumbing Source Inc. out of a 10,000 square foot business just across the border in Bedford Heights.

The Solon Chamber of Commerce recognized Faustina and the plumbing source for years of serving Solon residents by awarding them the 2011 Business of the Year Award.

In a letter nominating Faustina for the award, his friend Jim Bialosky wrote that Faustina puts his heart into his work by striving for "plumbing perfection."

And Faustina's business would not have flurished without Solon where The Plumbing Source's largest customer base is, Bialosky wrote.

"The city of Solon has always been near to his heart partially because of the company's origin in Solon," Biolosky wrote.
