There's no better way to support a local business than to attend Solon's first-ever Cash Mob at 5 p.m. today. The crowd is meeting at Solon Square Shopping Center on Aurora Road in front of .

At that time, organizers will announce which business they will mob.

Besides attending the mob, the best thing you can do is help spread the word? Here's what you can do:

• Head over to World Synergy's Facebook and Twitter to help them spread the word. They are helping to organize the cash mob, so support them by "Liking" and "following" their social media efforts! Do the same for the Solon Chamber of Commerce!

A cash mob is an event to encourage people to shop local businesses by having a crowd descend on a specific business and have each person spend at least $20. They are usually organized through social media and, of course, good old fashioned word of mouth.
