Plain Dealer: International Paper Closing Solon Plant

About 70 workers could lose their jobs, the newspaper reports.

International Paper will close its Solon plant in June, a move which may leave 70 workers without jobs, reports the Plain Dealer.

The newspaper said that the Camp Industrial Road plant is closing after International Paper merged with Temple-Inland Inc.

Company officials told the Plain Dealer they will work hard, and with the cooperation of the city of Solon, to find jobs for the plant's workers.
