Patch Picks: Great Places to Work in the Solon/Twinsburg Area

In honor of Labor Day, Patch Picks this week focuses on great places to work in Solon and Twinsburg.

We're only featuring five companies, but obviously we know there are many more great places to work in the area. So if you're not on the list but still great, tell us in the comments where you work and why your job is great.

Here's our list:

•  A major global company, Nestle is Solon's largest employer with nearly 2,000 workers in town. And now they want to add 40 to 60 new jobs by building a research and development facility.
• and Twinsburg City Schools: Both towns have some of the best schools in the state. A big reason? All those great teachers, administrators and support staff.
• Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc.: What's not to like? The soft-drink giant brought 197 jobs to Twinsburg.
• and Twinsburg: Yes, they take money from our paychecks for taxes, but still, these are the folks who snowplow our roads, provide police and fire protection and tons of recreation opportunities.
• : A family-owned pest control business in Twinsburg, not only do they do a good job of getting rid of pesky critters, but they also helped raised money to help Japan after the earthquake and tsunami.
• : A major company developing "fluid system solutions," they are headquartered in Solon and regularly regarded as one of the best places to work in the area.
