New Yoga Spa Opening Soon in Solon

Oasis Yoga Spa will be opening soon in Solon on Station Street across from the U.S. Post Office

Construction is in full motion at Solon’s new yoga spa Oasis, located across the street from the post office on Station Street in Solon.

The goal, said owner Janice Hanrahan, is to create a place that brings a sense of "community and diversity." The spa is expected to open Monday.

Hanrahan said Oasis will have two yoga rooms, one infrared sauna room, and the treatment room for massage, acupuncture, and reiki.

Walking into Oasis Yoga Spa, the ball-shaped wavy white light fixtures; pebble-stone trim flooring, and curved walls, hint at a modern interior design. However, this new-age modern spa of peace and tranquility won’t be complete until the bamboo flooring is installed.

The two yoga rooms both have different uses. The large yoga room will be the host of 35 different yoga classes during a single week. The second smaller yoga room is geared for Thai massages, private yoga sessions, and yoga classes structured and taught specifically for children.

The sauna room is equipped with Sunlight mPulse infrared technology, and according to Hanrahan, Oasis Yoga Spa is the only one in the Cleveland region with this particular top-of-the-line model.

“A lot of what’s being offered right now is geared towards one style," Hanrahan said of other yoga spas. "For a lot of people, that’s not where their interests lie or where their body will allow them to go. I wanted to open a space where truly everyone could find something on the schedule, where it brings in a sense of community and diversity."

Oasis will be a family-owned business. Her son will be manning the front desk, and her daughter will be teaching the children yoga classes, and she herself will be teaching a variety of classes.

While Hanrahan currently lives and teaches in Solon, she originally learned yoga while living out in California.

When she moved to Cleveland, she started a private practice where she taught some of her clients for the past eight years. Additionally, she has taught in many yoga studios, including Cleveland Yoga, Evolution Yoga, Yoga Lounge and Inner Bliss.

Check out the Oasis website for a full description of classes and services.

The spa is also featuring a grand-opening special offers: 30 days of unlimited classes for $30 or 30 percent off your first spa treatment. Offer is valid through the end of June.
