New Sandwich Shop Opening in Solon

For the last two years, Kelly and Torrie Palko and their families have travelled all over the country and eaten lots of Which Wich sandwiches.

Now, the Palkos hope Solon will be eating lots of Which Wich sandwiches too.

The couple is opening a Which Wich Superior Sandwich franchise in Uptown Solon on April 16 in Uptown Solon. While there are about 200 Which Wich shops across the country, It will be the first in Ohio.

The store will be located at 6025 Kruse Drive in the shopping plaza between Akira Hibachi and .

Kelly Palko said she hopes to open more locations in Ohio but felt like Solon was a good place to begin. For starters, its close to their home in Aurora.

"We like the shopping plaza and we saw the need too" for more dining options, she said.

Palko said that she considers Which Wich a cut above typical sandwiches. The menu offers more than 50 kinds of sandwich. See the menu here!

"I like to say we are to Subway what Five Guys is to McDonalds," Palko said.

While the restaurant officially opens Monday, there will be a pre-opening party held April 15 in cooperation with the .

Solon's DARE officer Joann Felton will be at Which Wich to speak to parents and students about the DARE program. The pre-opening will be from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on April 15.
