Founder of Sedlak Interiors in Solon Dies at 87

In 1989, John Sedlak moved his store to Solon and create a "Street of Dreams" concept featuring 26 galleries and lifestyle areas in 100,000 square feet of a 157,000-square-foot building.

John P. Sedlak, a United States Army Veteran, died April 9 at the age of 87.

Sedlak started Sedlak Interiors, an upscale home furnishings business in Cleveland in 1947 and eventually moved the company to Solon in 1989.Β
