FBI Hunting For Alex Spirikaitis, Offering Reward for Capture

The Liberty road man is wanted for fraud after authorities thought he was barricaded in his home.

After a 15-hour standoff outside the home of a Solon man turned up nothing, the FBI is searching for Alex Spirikaitis.

Vicki Anderson, spokesperson for the FBI, described Spirikaitis as 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighing approximately 225 pounds with green eyes and a shaved head. He usually has a goatee, although his facial hair may have changed.

A federal arrest warrant has been issued for Spirikaitis for false credit institution entries on Tuesday, leading Solon Police to his Liberty Road home.

Believing he was barricaded inside, police and agents waited nearly 15 hours until a thorough search of the home revealed he was not there. His whereabouts are not known.
