Solon Photo Club Reception at Solon City Hall

SOLON PHOTO CLUB EXHIBIT RECEPTION AT SOLON CITY HALL

  The public is invited to the closing reception of the exhibit of local Solon Photo Club photographers at Solon City Hall Friday, August 12, 2011 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

            The Solon Photography Club was formed in the spring of 2007. Eight Solon amateur photographers who had exhibited their work in the first annual Focus photography competition hosted by Solon Center for the Arts agreed to meet monthly to share their work and discuss their individual photographic skills. Two additional award-winning residents have joined the group since then. Membership is restricted to amateur photographers who reside in Solon and have had work accepted into the annual Focus competition or other local juried shows.

             Members of this diverse and amazingly supportive group are Bill Berris, Leo Blyumin, Nancy Dowling, Jeff Goldberg, Don Gallo, Al Magid, Wayne Roth, Gretchen Spacek, Carla Thompson, and Bob Trinnes. All of the work on exhibit by these local artists is available for purchase through Solon Center for the Arts.
