6th annual Earth Day celebration

The Solon Service Department will celebrate Earth Day by giving away tree seedlings, offering information on basic
tree care maintenance and landscaping and information on recycling. On display will be some of the department’s trucks, tractors and other equipment.

Bags of mulch will be sold and loaded for $2 each ($1 a bag for Solon seniors that day). There's a limit of 10 bags per car and only Solon residents are eligible.

Residents can also bring up to five boxes of records and documents such as tax forms, medical records, bills and receipts for secure shredding and there will be an “E-Scrap” drop-off that day to dispose of old computers safely.
