Great Escape: Get Your Yoga On by the Falls

Yoga by the Falls meets on the first and third Saturdays of July and August (that would be July 16, August 6 and August 20) from 9 to 10 a.m. at Riverside Park in Chagrin Falls

There is not much that could be more relaxing and refreshing than starting off your day with a unique yoga experience and doing it surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers and the sound of a waterfall in the background. 

Yoga by the Falls meets on the first and third Saturdays of July and August (that would be July 16, August 6 and August 20) from 9 to 10 a.m. at Riverside Park in Chagrin Falls.  

The style of yoga is vinyasa flow and is designed to accommodate all levels of fitness, whether you’ve perfected your downward facing dog or you’re still working on the basics.

Each pose has a specific physical and mental benefit, even the Lying Down Corpse position, which is the one I’ve perfected. There are movements to balance posture, strengthen your core, and stretch the muscles. And, always, there is relaxation and meditation at the end.
