We've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children.

Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

Where/When: Domino's Pizza in Solon, Monday and Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Why Go: Kids are invited to come to Domino's for a tour, then a full-on pizza-making session. The owner, Doug Graham will tell the group how he opened his own shop. The session on Monday is for kids in kindergarten through second grade. The session on Tuesday is for third- through sixth-graders.

Pricing: $7

Where/When: Twinsburg Public Library, Wednesday from 7:15-8 p.m.

Why Go: Kids ages 4 and up are invited to the library for a special St. Patrick's Day party. Enjoy some Irish fun and a craft. Registration is a must,  call the Children’s Place  at 330-425-4268 ext. 3.

Where/When: Twinsburg Government Center, Sunday from 2-5 p.m.

Why Go: Take a hike around the Buttonbush Trail and celebrate the first day of spring at the Pond Brook side of Liberty Park. The group will be looking for early migrating birds as well as budding flowers.

Where/When: , 34125 Portz Pky, Solon, OH 44139 on Thursday from 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Why Go: This is a celebration of the Irish! Get to the library to learn about Ireland and the people. Play and learn through games, crafts, and music.  Best for kids in grades K-9.
