SECPTA September General Meeting- All About First Aid

September’s Program is going to be a real life saver!   Trish Kruse, educator and representative from the American Red Cross, will talk about the newest methods in CPR, choking, and first aid.  Is it 1 breath every 5 compressions or 2 every 15?  And if my little one is choking should I pat them on the back or is there something more effective I can do?  Please join us as we gain skills to protect our children on Tuesday September 25, at 6:30 pm at the Solon Recreation Center.

“Our name says Solon, but we welcome families from Twinsburg, Aurora, Reminderville, Chagrin Falls, Glenwillow, Oakwood and other surrounding communities,” says SECPTA President Kate Isroff.   From Field Trips and Play-dates for the little ones to Mom’s Outings, Cooking Club, Book Club, Fitness Groups and even a Babysitting Co-op, SECPTA is engaging children and keeping suburban moms sane at the same time.

At the meeting on September 25th, get to know the faces behind SECPTA and learn about the great events planned for this year.  Get involved as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.  There will be snacks, fun and lots of door prizes.   Field trip signups start at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7pm.  Everyone is welcome!

SECPTA is a unit of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), organized for the parents of preschool age children (birth–5), regardless of what school the child will attend. We always welcome new members from Solon and the surrounding communities. If you are the parent of a preschool age child or infant, we have something for you. The purpose of our organization is to help parents of preschool age children better understand their children via qualified resources, educational programs, the sharing of experiences, and social activities.  For more information about SECPTA, visit www.SolonEarlyChildhoodPTA.com.
