An Orange woman forgot her iPhone at the pharmacy counter in Giant Eagle in Solon, but before she could go back to get it, someone stole it, according to the Solon Police.

A 49-year-old Solon woman was arrested and charged with theft after the store saw her stealing the phone on the security camera, according to a police report.

According to police, the phone was sitting at the pharmacy counter when another woman came up and put her purse inside. Police say the surveillance footage shows her quickly dropping the phone into her purse.

Police arrested the woman at her home. She told them that she picked up the phone by accident, and that she found the phone in the trunk of her car.

The iPhone was returned to its owner.
