At the Tiffin Carnival, the Solon girls cross country team took 7th out of 33 teams, including a first place finish by senior Therese Haiss.

Many of the Comet runners ran a new personal best. 

Haiss tied her career best time of 18:18. She was followed by sophomore Geneva Sandridge and freshman Louiza Wise who took 17th and 19th place overall and ran their best times of 19:25 and 19:35 respectively. 

Our fourth and fifth runners both ran personal best times, Julia Haiss (21:00) and Paige Myers (21:49).

This coming weekend the Comet runners head to the McDonough Invitational.
