Swagelok Employee Joins Case Western Reserve University Faculty

Sunniva Collins, PhD, will remain with the Solon company while she is a visiting associate professor in the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering.

Sunniva Collins, who has worked for Swagelok Company in Solon for 17 years, is Case Western Reserve University's newest visiting associate professor. 

Collins will teach in the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering and the department of materials science and engineering, according to Market Watch.

She was previously a senior research fellow with Swagelok and will continue to work with the company as a consultant.

"Dr. Collins' transition to CWRU is a significant win for the university and for students studying mechanical engineering and materials science," said Greg Shaw, PhD, director of technology development at Swagelok in the Market Watch post.
