'Stressed' Teen Throws Coffee, Tomatoes at Mother

An 18-year-old woman stressed out about transitioning to college threw a tantrum on Sept. 21 and began hitting and throwing things at her mother.
According to Solon police, the daughter, a resident of Seminole Way, began screaming at her mom and threw tomatoes, a phone and a full cup of coffee at her. When her mother asked her to clean it up, she began hitting her mother with open hands, police said.
The mother was not injured, police said. Police arrested the daughter and charged her with domestic violence.
