Solon Teen Accused of Shooting 18-year-old with Air Rifle

A 13-year-old Solon resident has been referred to juvenile court on an assault charge after police say he shot a man with an air rifle.
According to the police report, the victim, an 18-year-old Solon resident, was playing basketball with friends on Aug. 28 at Orchard Middle School.
Police say the man got into an argument with a 13-year-old, who left and came back with an Airsoft rifle, which he used to shoot the man in the thigh four times.
Police said there were four red welts on the man's leg. He refused treatment.
