A Solon police officer spotted the truck on U.S. 422, but the driver refused to stop. The truck kept driving into Bainbridge Township before another car stopped because they mistakenly thought the police were pulling them over, thereby blocking the white truck and forcing it to stop.

Police learned the truck and trailer had been stolen, and they also food prescription drugs and hypodermic needles in the truck.
