Solon Man Arrested for Making Animal Noises Atop Corbett's Farm Silo
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Perhaps this man was trying to beat the rooster.
On Feb. 18 around 3:15 a.m., a Sandalwood Drive resident reported hearing a drunk person yelling and "making animal sounds" in the area.
Twinsburg police officers located the person, a Solon man, sitting at the top of the silo at the Old Corbett's Farm.
The man came down the ladder, and was arrested.
He was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct/intoxication, and held on a PR Bond.

Why wasn't the guy (drunk) just put in a cell for the night to sleep it off then let go? Why charge the guy, then keep him in jail until he can up the dough for the bond? He didn't commit a serious crime, he was drunk & acting stupid, much like some of the Solon police might do themselves when they're off duty and having a few drinks.
This kind of unecessary crap, keeping a person who was being stupid, but not being criminal, costs money. it's also a waste of the courts time which in turn also costs money. If we ever want to get out of this "recession", wasteful spending, like charging a drunk with a crime, which was not really a crime, just stupidity, needs to be nipped in the bud. Basic common sense did not take place in this case. Solon police need to stick with what they're being paid to do, find and arrest real criminals.

Actually he is lucky that is all he was charged with. The way I see it, they cut him a break. And yes, being drunk and disorderly, trespass is a crime. Immagine how much money would be wasted if that guy would have fallen and ended up in the hospital.
