Solon Girls Cross Country Finishes Second in Opening Race
Up next for the Lady Comet runners is the Dave Clegg Invitational in North Canton on Saturday.
The Solon Lady Comets Cross Country team got their season off to a great start.
The varsity team finished second at the GlenOak Golden Eagle Invitational in Canton last weekend. The boys team finished third.
Therese Haiss led the Comets, finishing second with a time of 19:20.1. Geneva Sandridge finished 8th with a time of 20:09.5, and Louiza Wise finished 15th with a time of 20:35.7.
Julia Haiss finished 23rd and ran 21:07.3, Haley Guggenheim ran a 21:41.3, Catherine Cervenack ran a 22:27.4, Alison Wright finished with a 22:48, Erin Sandridge ran 22:51.9 and Maddy Kvaka finished with a 24:50.8.
Up next for the Lady Comet runners is the Dave Clegg Invitational in North Canton on Saturday, Sept. 1.
