Solon Girl Attacked After Shooshing Teens in Movie Theater
The information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
A 13-year-old Solon girl was attacked in the lobby of Solon Cinemas after she shooshed another group of teenagers during a showing of a movie, according to Solon Police.
According to the report, the 13-year-old and her 12-year-old friend were watching "Red Dawn" at the movie theater on Dec. 9. Another group of girls were talking during the movie, and the 13-year-old told police she "shooshed" them to get them to be quiet.
After the movie, the other girls confronted the victim in the lobby, and the confrontation turned physical. The girl told police she was hit, had her hair pulled and was knocked to the ground.
Police are investigating the incident.

The police got called because a 13 year old girl got pushed around by girls her same age? What a waste of police time / tax dollars. Her parents should have been there to pick them up right after the movie. Have the police bill them for their time, and our money.

@ Paul, seriously, what is wrong with you? So it's okay because the girls were all the same age? One 13 year old girl was attacked by a GROUP of 13 year old girls, and it's a waste of police time. How do you know her parents weren't there right after the movies waiting for her right outside the doors? For all you know, it could've been a group of 5 to 6 girls attacking her, and last time I checked, some 13 year old girls are as big as adults. Doesn't matter anyway, assault is assault, whether done by a 13 year old girl or a 75 year old man. I feel sorry for you. It's unbelievable to me that you even
took the time to write such an insensitive comment.

Maybe if people stopped coddling their kids, and let them fight their own battles, this country would be a better place. Sometimes the truth hurts, and sometimes it comes across as insensitive, but that's life, and our kids need to learn that lesson. I feel sorry for you for keeping your head buried so far in the sand to see that.
