Sears Employee Charged With Stealing From Register

A Sears Grand employee in Solon was charged with theft after police say he was caught undercharging merchandise and pocketing the difference.
Solon Police arrested and charged 48-year-old Bedford Heights man after, according to a police report, a fellow employee saw the man ring up an $8 bottle of anti-freeze for only $3.99 and keep the difference for himself.
The man, Michael Dix, was also wanted on an active warrant for failure to appear. He was also charged with misdemeanor theft.
