Attorneys for Solon were in court last week to defend the city and Mayor Susan Drucker against a wrongful firing lawsuit filed by the mayor's former secretary.
Attached to this post is the motion to dismiss and their counter to Deitrick's original lawsuit, which were filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Dec. 28.
Representing the city is Nancy Barnes from Thompson Hine, which was hired by the city to handle the case, and Law Director Thomas Lobe.
