Solon fast-food restaurants lately have been hit with a string of customers using counterfeit cash, according to Solon Police.
Police say that fast-food restaurants are discovering a number of fake $20 bills at their restaurants.
The most recent case was found at Chipotle on Aurora Road on Nov. 20. Employees found two fake $20s after closing. Police believe the bills were used between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. that day.
Other businesses that have found counterfeit money in Solon include McDonalds on Aurora Road and the Taco Bell and KFC on Enterprise Parkway, according to police.
In the Taco Bell case, the employees noticed the money was fake before food was given out, but the counterfeiters got away, according to police reports.
