Police: Solon Teenager Injures Mother Over Cell Phone Dispute

A Solon teenager is accused of injuring his mother over a cell phone dispute, according to .

Police received a call on April 1 that a 17-year-old on Countryview Lane in Solon was fighting with his mother.

Officers arrived to learn that the teen slammed the mother's wrist in a door and then fled the scene, according to a police report.

The mother told police that the fight was concerning his cell phone.

Police caught up with the teen at Lookabout Lodge in the MetroParks. Police took the teenager to the juvenile facility in Cleveland. He will be referred to juvenile court on possible domestic violence charges.
