Police Investigate String of Car Break-Ins
The information in this report is from the Solon Police.
Solon Police are investigating a number of car break-ins in Solon they believe are connected.
The break-ins, in which valuables were stolen from three different cars parked in two different locations, occured on Nov. 2.
Two cars were broken into outside the Blue Star Tavern on Brainard Road. The victims told police that the thieves broke in through car windows. One victim had a Dell laptop stolen worth $1,000 and the other victim had a $1,500 laptop and $200 briefcase stolen.
The thefts occured sometime between 7:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
Later that night, a car parked at Senorita Bonitas on Enterprise Parkway was broken into. A purse containing a small amount of cash and a bunch of personal documents and credit cards was stolen.

Is there any updates to the auto break ins?

I just met with the police and they had no update on those break-ins. They will catch the thief(s) eventually, so until then make sure you don't leave valuables in your car and lock your doors! I'll update the story as soon as I get more info.
