The Solon High Comets boys soccer team lost to St. Ignatius 3-0 this weekend in the season opener.

There was no score after the first half, but then Ignatius scored with about 23 minutes left in the second half. Two late goals rounded oout the scoring.

Solon was able to move the ball up and down the field, but had only two shots on goal. Solon goalie Jacob Atstadt had seven saves for the Comets.

The Comets take on Cuyahoga Falls at Stewart Field at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
