Pet store chain Petco will now be able to move into Uptown Solon after voters passed a zoning amendment.
Voters overwhelmingly approved the amendment, which was supported by planning staff. The amendment allows pet stores in certain retail districts.
The amendment had to pass citywide and in Ward 6, where Uptown Solon is located.
