Man Tries To Swipe Cash From Bar, Fails

A man was arrested and charged with theft after police say he tried and failed to steal money from a customer at the bar at Freeway Lanes in Solon.
According to police, a Solon man was at the bar and paying for his order. The bartender put $15 change down on the bar. The customer then stepped away from the bar for a moment.
That's when police say Christopher J. Churchill, 20, of Reminderville attempted to swipe the change, according to a police report.
Churchill was arrested and charged with theft.
