On July 6, a man entered the Ohio Savings Bank located at 34206 Aurora Road, Solon, and handed a note to a teller demanding $3,000 in cash, according to Solon Police.  No weapon was seen.  He was given a small amount of $1 bills in a packet and he immediately left the scene, fleeing on foot.  He was not caught at the time.

Solon Police detectives learned that a suspect in other robberies fit the same description. That suspect was identified as the Solon robber through photographic and forensic evidence.
