Man Caught Shoplifting By Worker Complains To Manager

The information in this report is from the Solon Police.

A 51-year-old Moreland Hills man was caught by an employee when he pocketed a candy bar at Miles Farmers Market, according to Solon Police.

The man put the candy bar back, but then did something strange: He finished buying his groceries, then asked for the manager to complain about the employee who caught him.

Police say the man was intoxicated and started fighting with the manager. Police say he pushed the manager to the ground.

He was cited for disorderly conduct and given a written warning for criminal trespassing, according to the police report. He also is no longer allowed at Miles Farmers Market, police say.
