If you want to hear former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, it's time to register!

Former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel will be the keynote speaker at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Oct. 17. The registration deadline for the event is Friday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m.

The event is $25 for chamber members and $30 for non-members.

But because of the popularity of the event, tickets could be sold out before the deadline. So call the Solon Chamber or the Twinsburg Chamber for registration details.

Tressel will speak at Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern on Wilcox Drive in Twinsburg on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The luncheon runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tressel is now the president for strategic engagement at the University of Akron. He resigned as the head football coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2011. 

His talk is called "The Attitude of Gratitude." 

The luncheon is part of the 3Chamber format, featuring chambers of commerce from Solon, Twinsburg and Aurora.
