Too much Halloween candy? You can donate it to a good cause!

Solon Middle and Orchard Middle schools are collecting extra Halloween candy that will be sent to troops serving overseas through local USO organizations.

If you have a student at Solon Middle or Orchard, simply send the candy to school with them or drop it off in the office.

If you don't have a student those schools and would like to support the students' collection efforts, please bring any extra Halloween treats to the Solon Board of Education offices. There will be a collection box there until Friday, Nov. 9.
