Expensive Tires Taken from Davis Auto Display

A set of four tires, valued at $4,500, was taken from a BMW display at Davis Automotive some time after Sept. 20, according to the Solon Police Department. The company noticed the tires were missing on Oct. 4.
A man came into the store saying he came across another man in a red minivan named Bob who was trying to sell four tires. The man said Bob openly stated that he stole them, police said.
Detectives are investigating.
