Earth Fare fans, get ready: The Solon location of the popular natural-foods grocery chain is expected to open in May.

Earth Fare announced that the store at Solon Square (in the former Stein Mart location) will be opening this spring with an anticipated date of May 8.

Solon Patch will provide updates when the opening draws closer.

The grocery store is also holding a job fair from March 25 through March 27 at the Hampton Inn on Enterprise Parkway. The job fair will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. all three days.

The company is hiring full-time and part-time workers in these positions: culinary and baking artisans, cafe staff, grocery stock clerks, top-grade butchers, produce clerks and cashiers.

Earth Fare will have quite a bit of competition in the Solon grocery market, which has seen an overhaul in recent months. Giant Eagle is opening its first Cleveland-area Market District Store at Solon Village and there's already Mustard Seed Market at Uptown Solon.
